Education remains at the heart of our work in Old Adwampong and we continue to invest in both the learning environment and the people who make it possible.

Building on the successful fundraising campaign in 2025, construction of a new classroom block began during the school holidays in July. By September, the first phase was complete, with the structure erected and roofing planned as the next step. Once finished, the new block will provide much-needed additional space for teaching and learning.

Meanwhile, everyday school life continued. The Old Adwampong Community School reopened in September with around 93 children attending. To strengthen this work, our new volunteer Jana arrived in August and will stay until July 2027, supporting both the school and the project library.

Our commitment to education also extends beyond the classroom. Three young people who passed their basic education examinations in 2025 began Senior High School that year. We continue to support them as they take this important next step towards a brighter future.

Thank you to everyone. Your encouragement, generosity and commitment help us create opportunities for children, young people and families in Old Adwampong.
